My career in parent support began when I trained with the NCT to be a breastfeeding counsellor, qualifying in 2013. Before I qualified I volunteered as a peer supporter and continue to volunteer at a weekly drop in near to my home. I qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2020.
I find working with new families fun and rewarding, and so have trained to expand my range of services to include birth and postnatal doula support, Hypnobirthing, baby massage, introducing family foods, and holistic sleep coaching for babies and children.
I am particularly interested in supporting mental wellbeing; always important but even more so during the perinatal period. I have a Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis in mental health and most recently have qualified as a coach specialising in matrescence. My aim is to ensure mothers feel fulfilled, confident and supported in their transition to motherhood, and throughout its twists and turns. I’m always happy to talk about how I can best support you and your family.
Feel free to book a 15 minute call with me to discuss how I can best work with you and your family.

Tricia was an enormous support on my matresence journey after the birth of my second child. She held space for me to make sense of - and integrate - all the many changes in my identity, values, preferences and needs at a very confusing and difficult time. Tricia is a fantastic coach, fundamentally because she is relational and very good at listening at all levels - emotional, rational and intention. She got to know me through asking great questions and inquiring into context. She gently offered observations and noticed and pointed out possible assumptions and patterns. She helped me to reflect on and make sense of my (changing) needs and feel ok about it all. She brought great compassion and skill to these conversations and I would highly recommend working with Tricia.
